I’m Eugene Vindman -- the Congressman proudly representing Virginia’s 7th Congressional District.

I don’t lend my voice to many races. But I want to tell you why I’m standing with Derek Tran.

Derek’s the son of refugees. A veteran like me. Someone who stepped up for his community long before he ever thought about running for Congress. He reminds me a lot of the people I served with -- folks who don’t look for the easy path, they look for the right one.

That’s the kind of leadership we need more of in Congress.

And I’m going to be direct: Republicans are already going after Derek. Several GOP candidates have jumped in, and national groups are treating CA-45 as a top target. If we don’t help Derek build the resources to fight back, we risk losing a seat we simply cannot afford to lose.
