It's been a busy two weeks on from the National Climate Demonstration where thousands of people from across the island, came out in full colour to demand just climate action. Ireland indicated on the international stage that it wants to be a leader in the fossil fuel phase out, while at the same time the Taoiseach has said that "LNG can't happen fast enough". This type of misalignment causes delays and inaction, and results in Ireland being a climate laggard.

Since the demo, people have been calling and emailing their TDs to invite them to the Climate Mass Lobby of TDs.

On the 3rd of December between 11am and 8pm, TDs will be attending the Climate Mass Lobby where they will be asked to pledge for quality climate action which pushes back on big polluters such as Liquified Natural Gas infrastructure, champions a fossil fuel phase-out, and ensures Ireland meets its national, EU and international obligations
