Missouri Net News [link removed] Moto Rally for Mozambique
Join Missouri Bishop Bob Farr as he travels around the Missouri Conference on his motorcycle in support of the Mozambique Initiative. The purpose of the ride is to raise awareness and money to purchase motorcycles for United Methodist pastors in Mozambique. In remote areas that lack good roads motorcycles are the most common and practical form of transportation. For the Missouri ride, supporters are encouraged to donate per mile ridden. The ride in Missouri will take place September 29 – October 2 and will pass through all nine Missouri Conference districts. There is no fee to participate in the ride, and riders are welcome to come and go, riding short segments with the group along the way. People who are interested in participating in the ride should register so they can receive updates about the route. For more information go to [link removed] www.moumethodist.org/mimotorally.
