COVID-19 has transformed many aspects of everyday life, including how we will vote for president of the United States this November.

We’ve seen problems arise across the country in the past few months as voters headed to the polls in their state’s primary election — everything from malfunctioning voting machines to absentee ballot requests that have gone unfulfilled, to massive lines and shuttered polling places.

That’s why Issue One has been working hard for safe elections amid the coronavirus pandemic. We’ve been advocating on Capitol Hill and across the country for Congress to provide states with the emergency funding they need to ensure that the 2020 elections are safe, secure, and fair.
