Dear Progressive reader,

The 2020 presidential election is just about 110 days away, and concerns are being raised around the country about how voting can be conducted safely during a pandemic. Investigative reporter Greg Palast cautions that in some ways, the 2020 election has already been compromised.

Palast’s new book: How Trump Stole 2020, just out this week, says that through voter purges and changes in electoral laws, Donald Trump may have already stolen the 2020 election - - BUT we can do something about it before November 3!

“Don't cry, but don't be stupid, and don't go to sleep,” says Palast in a recent phone interview. “Grab some coffee, wake up, pay attention, and protect your damn vote.”

Please join us today at 4:00 pm Pacific time / 7:00 pm Eastern time for Greg Palast’s book launch event on Facebook Live featuring a discussion with the author plus Amy Goodman and Noam Chomsky and moderated by Latosha Brown, founder of Black Voters Matter.

The Progressive is a co-sponsor of this event, and we are pleased to invite you to join us.

Palast says, “They play all these games, but we're going to have to know the games and play them better than they do, better than the vote thieves. It's not about whether Trump gets elected or not. It's about whether this time, unusually for American history, the voters get to decide who becomes President.”

Plus, as a special thank you to Progressive readers, we are able to offer copies of this new book to our supporters.

As Greg Palast says " I want you to get the book, but I want you to get it from The Progressive, because otherwise, we end up with the re-gressives, and that's more dangerous than anything. Keep your media alive!”

Thank you,
