Hi friends,
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I hope you got some well-earned rest, spent time with your loved ones, and ate some delicious home-cooked food.
Today, many folks are plugging back in. Black Friday and this weekend are some of the biggest shopping days of the year – and one of the biggest tests of how people view the economy.
This year, things feel different. Yes, there are still plenty of sales, but the truth is, a lot of people are anxious about affording even the basics – like groceries and medicine.
Prices are still too high. Skyrocketing health care premiums are on everyone’s mind. Families are cutting back. And working people all over Michigan are making hard choices about what they can afford – and what they can’t.
Wall Street might be doing fine, but it’s still incredibly hard to find a good job. And even when you do, prices are rising so dang fast that it feels impossible to get ahead. For too many, saving even a little money every month seems like a pipe dream.
The truth is, a lot of Americans feel like the system just isn’t working for them – and they’re right.
While everyday people are stretching every dollar and praying they don’t have a surprise emergency expense, billionaires are raking in record profits, and MAGA Republicans are using their power to cut food assistance, health care, and programs like Social Security – all while giving tax breaks to their ultra-wealthy donors.
Trump’s chaotic tariffs and rising costs are hurting Michiganders – and it’s time we put an end to them.
I’m running for Senate to fight for working families. Because I believe we can build an economy that actually works: one where families don’t have to worry about paying massive medical bills, drowning in student debt, or affording necessities.
I’m in this fight because I’ve seen what’s possible when we put people first. I know we can do it. For Michigan. For our country. For all of us.
Thank you for being in this with me.
With grit and gratitude,
Haley
A personal note from Haley 👋

I’m a lifelong Michigander and the daughter of small-business owners. I’ve spent my career fighting for Michigan’s working families – and now I’m running for the U.S. Senate to keep standing up for the people I love.

But here’s the truth: Senate control could come down to Michigan. And Trump and his megadonors know it. That’s why they’re gearing up to spend tens of millions to defeat me and hand this seat to a MAGA Republican.

I need your help to fight back. This race will be one of the most competitive – and expensive – in the country, and I’m counting on grassroots support to win.

If you’re with me, will you chip in today?
