I know our campaign sends a lot of emails asking for money. So, I wanted to pause and explain why these asks are important.

Our political system is broken. Billionaire mega-donors and corporations can give unlimited money to try to buy elections.

It’s corruption. Plain and simple.

Those billionaire mega-donors will spend whatever it takes to beat us because they know that our campaign is a threat to their power.

So we have to raise the resources to take them on, and I refuse to take a dime from corporate PACs. Instead, I’m counting on the people to fuel this movement.

That’s where these emails come in. It may surprise you, but emails like this one are the number one way we raise money. Without the response to these messages, we’d stand no chance in Texas. So I’m asking:
