Dear John,
The holidays we celebrate tell a bigger story about who we are.
As the end-of-year holiday season arrives, stories like the Kumaar family's [[link removed]] remind me that home isn’t just defined by where we come from but also by who we love.

From celebrating in new ways to sharing Malaysian food with neighbors, the Kumaar family show us that connection grows through everyday moments. Alongside the Team Up Project, we’ve been working with the Kumaar family and five other creators to share stories about simple—yet powerful—actions that bring people together.
Whether it’s finding unexpected care after a hurricane, forging new friendships over dog treats and tricks, confidently embracing one’s authentic self, sharing meals to heal after a natural disaster, or connecting with someone new--each story is a reminder that connection blooms in unexpected ways when you step outside your comfort zone.
