____

Dear John,

Weeks like the one we’ve just witnessed rarely deliver this much block-buster action in one hit. How is your One Nation newsletter desk meant to choose?

From the most remarkable maiden speech given in a generation by Senator Sean Bell, to our leader being banned for wearing a burqua by a motion backed by Liberals, Nationals, Labor and the Greens, to the petty cancellation of our movie trailer launch at the eleventh hour.

Where would we begin?

Let’s start with confirmation that Labor has gone full Chinese Communist Party by moving a motion to ban Pauline Hanson from parliament.

Yes, in modern Australia, the Labor Party is so rattled by Pauline’s presence that their instinct is not to debate her, but to ban her. They do not want scrutiny, they do not want debate, and they certainly do not want Pauline calling them out in front of the Australian people.

The Liberals and Nationals, most likely jealous that Senator Hanson was enjoying a steak with Barnaby, should read the large volume of material now publicly available from Australian women who have fled abusive relationships that used the burqua as the means of control before jumping into bed with Labor and their extremist friends. These are real Australian women whose lives were suffocated under a garment used as a prison.

Of course, whining about wagyu beef is far more important to the Liberals and Nationals, who only ever think about themselves. They would rather clutch their pearls over a dinner than confront the hard truths about cultural practices being used to abuse and silence women.

Into this Labor-led circus walked Senator Sean Bell with an air of dignity unrivaled.

Senator Sean Bell’s maiden speech made a valiant defence of Senator Hanson’s right to sit in the chamber and vocalise her constituency’s views. He reminded the parliament that Pauline Hanson was elected by Australians, not appointed by party machines, and that attacking her right to sit there is an attack on the people who voted for her.

But of course, being thrown out of the chamber was not enough for the Communists who run parliament.

They actually went further. They cancelled our “A Very Progressive Movie” trailer launch with only a few hours’ notice.

Yes, on top of trying to ban Pauline, they also pulled the pin on the launch of our new movie trailer, which we had scheduled, booked and paid for. The reason is obvious. They do not want Australians seeing a powerful, punchy portrayal of what is really happening in this country. They do not want a spotlight shone on the hypocrisy, the double standards and the cosy club that now runs Canberra.

So instead of simply letting us show a trailer and letting the public decide for themselves, the cozy elites slammed the door.

When Pauline Hanson stands up, the joint Labor/Liberal/Nationals/Greens party room try to shut her down. When we make a movie trailer, they cancel it.

What they cannot cancel is the growing number of Australians who have had enough of them. And that, in the end, is the audience that really matters.
