Hello,

This Thanksgiving, I have so much to be thankful for.

My husband Chris and I are so blessed to have our five wonderful children and to be able to call ourselves grandparents. They bring joy and light into our lives every day.

My parents live close by and having their sage wisdom and life experience is truly irreplaceable, especially during times like these.

Family is everything, and the time we spend together and the memories we create are my most cherished things in life. For that, I am most thankful.

I never imagined that I would run for political office or embark on a journey like this. In all my decades in the Navy and everywhere my career took me, being a candidate and running a campaign are unlike anything else.

And I am thankful to be able to say that the experience has expanded our “family” to include so many more people. Our dedicated volunteers, staff, donors, and supporters really do feel like family. And for that, to you, I am thankful.
