Dear Georgian,

Every Thanksgiving families across the nation come together and give thanks for each other, for our country, and for another grateful year. 

I would ask that each of you join me in giving special thanks to our many servicemembers that are currently defending our country around the world and are therefore spending the holiday away from their families. 

To all of our active duty servicemembers, we offer a special thank you. Thank you for defending our nation and for your sacrifice that keeps us all safe.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
