| George Daniels has always been a musician. At 73, he still plays guitar and drums, finding joy in the rhythm of a well-played song. But in 2018, Parkinson's changed the tempo of his life. When George had the chance to join a senior band, his right leg wouldn't work. He couldn't drum. It broke his heart. Still, George keeps playing. Music may look different now, but it's still embedded in the rythm of his life. "Don't give up hope," George says. "Stay strong. Find something that works for you and makes you believe." Parkinson's may be part of George's life, but it hasn't silenced his music or his spirit. |
