Before I step away to spend the day with Aly and our boys – probably eating more stuffing than I should – I wanted to take a moment to say something simple:

This year has been one of the most challenging and inspiring of my life. When we relaunched this campaign, a lot of folks said the same thing they always say: that Texas is too big, too red, and too set in its ways. 

But you showed them otherwise.

✅ Last year, we outran the presidential ticket by nearly 200,000 votes and earned more than 5 million total votes – that's 5 million Texans who showed they were ready for change.

✅ Independent analysts are now calling this one of the five most competitive Senate races in the country – and one of Democrats' best pickup opportunities.

✅ And thanks to the momentum built by this grassroots team, FOUR polls show me ahead of the leading GOP candidate in this race.

Every step we've taken this year has been powered by people like you – Texans who believe we deserve leaders who listen, who fight for us, and who aren't bankrolled by corporate PACs and special interest agendas.

I don't take that lightly, and I don't take it for granted.

So today, in the middle of the family chaos, the football, and the food, please know that I am grateful for you, your belief in this campaign, and your hope in what Texas can be.

We still have a long road ahead. But together, we're building something that can change the future of this state and our country.
