As we gather with the people we love this week, it’s worth remembering the simple truth: everyone deserves the same sense of safety, comfort, and a full table. Too many Maine families are stretched thin right now, and having a hard time just affording the basics.

Maine has incredible communities and leaders who run food assistance and local food pantries all over Maine. I know they are working overtime to support our neighbors. If you’re in a position to help, this is the moment to give. And if you or someone you know is hungry, please make sure they know what's available and that good people care all over Maine.
