JOHN,
As we celebrate Thanksgiving, I wanted to step away from the daily chaos of the news cycle for a moment and speak to you personally.
Over the past year, we have asked you to stand against the most chilling threats to our democracy: calls for the execution of lawmakers, the privatization of cruelty in detention centers, and the systematic use of fear to terrorize communities.
It has been a relentless year, and the temptation to look away is powerful.
But because of you, the Save America Movement has not only refused to look away, we have successfully engaged in the fight:
- We launched the Liberty Vans and kept them deployed on the frontlines in Los Angeles, Chicago, and right now in Charlotte, forcing transparency onto an opaque federal machine.
- We shamed the architects of cruelty with our poster campaigns, exposing figures like Stephen Miller and Pam Bondi—hitting the administration where it is most sensitive: the truth.
- We are beginning to pour resources into critical electoral battles, like the upcoming TN-7 Special Election, fighting to prove that decency and competency can win, even in the hardest-fought districts.
This fight is driven entirely by the courage of ordinary Americans who have chosen principles over partisanship. The sheer scale of what we have achieved—holding the line against a political machine fueled by unchecked power—is a testament to your commitment.
There is no professional army here; there is just a movement of people who believe in the American idea. Your support has been the fuel for every ad, every camera, and every act of resistance.
For that, I am deeply, personally grateful.
I hope you get a moment today to reflect on the constants in your life—your family, your friends, and the democratic principles that we are all fighting to defend.
Thank you for allowing me to serve in this fight alongside you.
Happy Thanksgiving, Steve Schmidt Save America Movement
