We're honored to shine this month's spotlight on former Young Democrats of Georgia President Sarah Beeson! Sarah Beeson is a Roswell native and mother who operates a 50+ employee family business that has been based in Roswell for over two decades. She's running to oust Senator John Albers in one of the most flippable state senate seats in Georgia! A long-time advocate, Sarah has served as the Communications Chair on the board for Advance Atlanta, a non-profit committed to expanding transit throughout the metro area. She also represents local small business owners as a Leadership Council Member for the National Small Business Association. Previously, Sarah worked for the Human Rights Campaign, the nation's largest LGBTQ advocacy group.

The rumors are true! The Young Democrats of Georgia are officially establishing an AAPI caucus! If you are an Asian American Pacific Islander Young Democrat or aspiring ally, please join us for our formation meeting Tuesday, July 21st at 6pm. We'll hear from great AAPI leaders with support from The Young Democrats of America AAPI caucus, The Democratic Party of Georgia's new AAPI caucus, and Georgia's very own They See Blue group.
