Friend,

This year, I am thankful to be gathered with family and friends, filling the house with good food, laughter, and my boys going back for seconds (and thirds). This week reminds us of the Lord’s many and continual blessings in our lives. It’s the simple things that mean the most – the memories made around the table and the small moments that turn into memories during this season.

My husband, Matt, and our two boys, Max and Jax, are my everything, and the reason I work every day to build a better future for my kids’s children and the many generations to come.

As we gather around our tables, I’m also thinking of the brave men and women serving our country, far from home, and of the families who have an empty seat at their table this year. They are sacrificing time with their loved ones so we can be with ours. To those families in Iowa and across the nation who may be missing someone today: thank you. We are forever indebted to you.

Despite the division and disagreements we may face, we must never forget how fortunate we are to live in the greatest country in the world. There is still so much more that unites us than divides us as Americans. This season is a reminder of the strength of our communities, the goodness of our neighbors, and the promise of the future we are building together.

I am honored and humbled you have put your trust in me — to listen, to show up, and to advocate for you in Congress. Meeting with folks across the district, hearing your stories, and fighting for our shared priorities in Washington is a responsibility I never take lightly. Thank you for the privilege of serving you.

From our family to yours, we wish you a warm, joyful, and blessed Thanksgiving. Thank you for the privilege of serving you – I am so grateful!

With Gratitude,
