Dear Artists,
In times of great challenge, artists of every discipline play a critical role in building a vibrant, joyful, optimistic mass working-class culture of resistance.
We are issuing an emergency call for your original artwork. Please send us all forms of your original art celebrating the resistance movement. This might include art oriented toward African American History Month in February, Women’s History Month in March, Earth Month in April, and Working-Class History Month in May.
Please email [email protected] with your original working-class-themed artwork attached. We are looking for anything from painting, poetry, and music, to drawing, dance, jewelry design, oratory, and beyond.
Please submit image files, short video clips, and text documents that we can use directly and immediately in collections, slideshows, and displays. If you are sending video clips, please keep them to a few minutes in length and make sure they are recorded in horizontal/landscape mode (turn your phone sideways while recording).
We invite you to create so we can all see the joy in collective struggle and know that through mass working-class solidarity, we can win!
Thank you!
