Friends and neighbors,
Thanksgiving is a great time to recognize how blessed we are. We live in a nation built on faith and guided by the belief that our rights come from God, not from government. That truth has sustained our country through challenges, wars, and countless moments of uncertainty. It continues to guide us today.
Let’s slow down, ignore the attempts by the mainstream press to divide us, and think about the simple gifts we have: a roof over our heads, some food at the table, family gathered near and far, the ability to worship freely.
It’s also a reminder of our calling to lift up those who are struggling. Many families in our communities are facing real hardship. If you are able, I encourage you to look for someone who could use a helping hand. Churches, shelters, and local charities could always use the help. If you don’t have money to spare, a donated coat, an extra bag of groceries, or a few hours of your time can make a big difference too.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. May God bless you, and may He continue to bless the United States of America.
