Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you have a wonderful day with your loved ones full of delicious food and excellent company. I can’t wait to sit down and enjoy a feast with my family later today.

I announced earlier this month that I’m running for reelection in California’s new 3rd Congressional District because I’m committed to doing everything I can to help Democrats take back the House — even if it means taking on a tougher race. I’ve been humbled by the outpouring of support since my announcement. I know that with people like you on my team, I’m confident that we can win this race and flip the House blue next November.

As we pause for the holiday, it’s important to remember the folks in our communities who might not have a hot meal waiting for them tonight. The Trump administration has done everything in its power to shred our social safety net and enact deep cuts to programs for the most vulnerable among us.
