Weekend Service Impacts

* *Routes 3, 10, 11, 12, and 49* will be rerouted during testing for The Seattle Tree Lighting & Fireworks from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Wednesday, November 26;
* *Routes 3, 10, 11, 12, and 49 *will be rerouted during The Seattle Tree Lighting & Fireworks event from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, November 28;
* *Routes 101, 102, 150, 212, 218, ST 545, and ST 554* will be rerouted, in the downtown Seattle area, during The Seattle Tree Lighting & Fireworks event from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Friday, November 28;
* *Routes 271 and ST 554* will be rerouted during the Issaquah Turkey Trot from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 27;
* *Route ST 542* will be affected in the Montlake area on Saturday, November 29 from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the Husky football game;

* The *Seattle Torrent* will play at 1 p.m. on Saturday at the Climate Pledge Arena [ [link removed] ];

* *Seattle Center Monorail [ [link removed] ] *will operate 7:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, and 8:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Sunday. The Monorail will depart approximately every 10 minutes;
* Riders can use Text for Departures [ [link removed] ] by texting their stop number to 62550 to get next departure times;

Approved: King County Metro’s 2026-27 budget adds service, invests in zero emissions, safety and cleaning

The King County Council adopted Metro’s 2026-2027 budget in November 2025. The budget adds more than 400,000 hours of Metro bus service and totals $4 billion across Metro’s operating and capital programs, including all of Metro’s modes of transit as well as safety, cleaning, and zero emissions, among other priorities.
