It has been a heavy year for many of us. Every day we are inundated with shocking headlines of chaos, corruption, and the immoral and unlawful actions of this administration. It can be a lot to take, for all of us.

But when I visit communities throughout our district and see the people on the ground who are supporting each other and stepping up, I am filled with hope. From organizing food drives, to volunteering at local nonprofits, to supporting Democratic candidates and voting in record numbers, you are the ones who inspire me every day to keep fighting.

Because despite everything we’re up against, I’ve seen how resilient our community is and I know we are not going to give up.

So before this holiday, I want you to know that I am thankful for YOU.

Thank you for staying engaged, thank you for showing up in whatever ways you’re able, and thank you, most of all, for never giving up. I know we are going to get through this together.
