As we head into the holiday tomorrow, I wanted to take a moment to personally wish you a happy Thanksgiving, John.

This season always reminds me how fortunate I am to serve this community, and how grateful I am for the people who make our work possible.

This year brought more than its share of challenges -- from the weeks-long shutdown to the uncertainty created by new district maps -- but through it all, I’ve felt the strength and support of this team. Whether you’ve shared your thoughts in our surveys, stayed engaged with the issues facing CA-49, or simply reached out with encouragement, it has meant a great deal.

Representing this district is the honor of my life, and I’m thankful every day for the trust you place in me. I’m looking forward to the work ahead and to staying focused on the issues that matter most to the people of CA-49.
