Breastcancer.org Virtual Town Hall

Dear Friends,

In early March, we saw the growing risk of COVID-19 begin to transform life in the U.S. Once healthcare providers started to delay routine screening and elective procedures, we anticipated that breast cancer treatment would be affected, but the extent was unknown. The ordeal of the past 4 months has changed how we interact with one another, interfered with life events, and tested the limits of going virtual. The virus has disrupted our lives in ways we couldn't have predicted — but we've learned a lot along the way.

On Thursday, July 30, at 2 PM ET, we hope you'll join us for Breastcancer.org's virtual town hall: COVID-19 and Breast Cancer Care.

Dr. Marisa Weiss, Breastcancer.org Chief Medical Officer, will share insights from our Special Report on COVID-19 and breast cancer that pinpoint the most important issues and lessons to help us prepare for the future. We'll also hear stories from medical experts and patients who have been directly impacted.

The Special Report and town hall wouldn't be possible without the generous support of our donors. The health, safety, and well-being of our community are the driving forces behind everything we do, and we're very grateful to everyone committed to furthering our mission.

As people continue to face difficult challenges because of this pandemic, Breastcancer.org remains committed to providing trusted resources, information, and support. Please register today for the COVID-19 and Breast Cancer Care virtual town hall, and forward this email to friends and family so we can come together as a community during this unprecedented time.

With gratitude,
