Since it’s the season of gratitude, I want to say thank you. On behalf of the IDP team, we’re beyond grateful for the support you’ve shown us over the past few weeks, months, and years. Whether you’re a new supporter or you’ve been around for awhile — your support means everything.
I’m about to dive deep into what IDP’s been up to, but a holiday fundraising slump is right around the corner and we don’t want to fall behind on our November goal. Will you pitch in $25 today to help us beat the holiday slow down?
In 2023, we rebuilt IDP from the ground up. We paid off our debt, hired a robust staff, and created an organization to build Democratic momentum among our communities.
We’ve done everything we could to lay the foundation down for Democratic success over the past few years, and now we’re ready for results. From holding Republicans accountable to working with all 99 county parties, our main focus is to help Democrats win elections in Iowa in 2026.
And so far, it’s paying off. 2025 has been our strongest year yet!
We’ve had FOUR special election overperformances by Democrats this year, thousands of Iowans showing up at events across the state to vocalize their concerns, and overall optimism about winning some of the toss-up races on the ballot.
Iowa is a top battleground state in the country this year because there’s an energy shift taking place, and we can all feel it. Our success so far has been possible because of grassroots supporters who believe in a better future for Iowa. But in order to cross the finish line next November, we need to maintain a strong fundraising program, and we can’t do it without you.
Before you log off for the holiday weekend, will you chip in $25 towards our November End-of-Month goal to help us continue making change across Iowa? We have two more special elections coming up next month that are yet another chance to prove that Democrats can’t be counted out.
The IDP team wishes you a happy holiday with your friends and family. Thank you for your support!
