Hey John,

If your Thanksgiving table comes with a side of political debate, I’ve got your back. Before your Republican relatives start going on about how “Democrats don’t deliver,” we have the facts you can bring to the table — straight from the women leaders EMILYs List helped elect.

Before I share, I have to emphasize our End-of-Month goal: we need to raise $20,000 per day until Sunday to make sure we hit our November fundraising numbers. It’s a big lift, but Democratic pro-choice women are relying on our support to win in 2026. Donate now and help keep the wins coming:

So, here’s how you can fire back at your lecturing relatives:

In the Empire State, Gov. Kathy Hochul is taking real steps to ease costs for New Yorkers. The state just sent out inflation refund checks, putting money directly back into families’ pockets when they need it the most.

In Arizona, Gov. Katie Hobbs is preparing a Middle Class Tax Cuts Package after signing an executive order directing the Department of Revenue to get it done. She’s delivering bigger deductions, tax relief for seniors, and ending taxes on tips, overtime, and even new car loan interest. She’s proving that you can cut taxes in a smart, responsible way that actually supports hardworking families.

In Illinois, Lt. Gov. Juliana Stratton (IL-SEN) is pushing early childhood education forward with the Smart Start Illinois initiative. She’s working alongside Gov. Pritzker to implement a multi-year plan that expands universal preschool access and stabilizes the early childhood specialist workforce. While Republicans attack teachers and public education, Stratton is investing in kids, their parents, and the future of her state.

And in Maine, Gov. Janet Mills (ME-SEN) is fighting for rural communities. Her administration just filed the state’s application for the Rural Health Transformation Program — a new federal initiative designed to strengthen rural hospitals and improve access to care. She’s making sure families in every corner of the state get the health care they deserve.

These are EMILYs List women, which means they run, they win, and they govern with results — not partisan chaos. Plus, every single one of these women is on the ballot in 2026, and this community’s support is what will make their wins possible. So if you want more leaders like Hochul, Hobbs, Stratton, and Mills delivering real progress (and making your Thanksgiving arguments A LOT easier), this is the moment to step up.

John, can you chip in today to help us hit our $20,000-a-day End-of-Month goal and fuel the campaigns of the women who actually deliver?
