Team, before you unplug for Thanksgiving, I want to quickly share something important.

This time of year spent around loved ones always reminds me why I ran for governor in the first place: to make life better for everyone who calls Massachusetts home.

And we’ve made some real progress together. Massachusetts is now ranked as the best place to live and raise a family, the best place for working moms and dads, the best place for women, and the best state for health care, education, and innovation.

These are so much more than just rankings, team.

They’re small business owners who have invested their entire life savings, seeing it all pay off. They’re kids who have the opportunity to go to the best schools. They’re parents who have access to child care and good paying jobs and the health care their families need.

That’s why this work is so important, and why we need the resources to continue this progress next year.

Thanksgiving week is one of the slowest periods of the entire campaign season — but our opponents won’t be slowing down. If we fall behind now, it will take us weeks to make up ground.
