I wanted to take a moment to share why this work means so much to me. This message is a little longer, so if you’re short on time, here’s the heart of it: North Carolina is home. I care deeply about this community, and I’m committed to doing everything I can to help it thrive.

I grew up right here in Orange County, and I’ve witnessed this community’s highs and lows up close. From a young age, my parents taught me the value of hard work, caring for your neighbors, and committing yourself to service and education — lessons that shaped every step of my path.

From the Chapel Hill–Carrboro City Schools Board to the Orange County Board of Commissioners, and from the North Carolina State House to the halls of Congress, my work has always been guided by the same principle: showing up for the community that raised me.

Representing North Carolina’s Fourth Congressional District is one of my life’s greatest honors, and it wouldn’t be possible without your continued support.

We continue to face persistent challenges — skyrocketing health care premiums, an affordability crisis that affects families across our community, and the daily pressures that make it harder for people to get ahead.

Yet these challenges only strengthen my resolve to find solutions, fight for our community, and ensure that everyone has the support they need to thrive.

Right now, it’s clear that Washington isn’t working for the American people. It’s time to turn the page on this disastrous Republican majority. We’ve got to put a stop to the chaos and get Congress back to work to make progress for the people.
