Dear Members and Friends,
On November 20, on a crisp, cold day on the Baltic coast at the Putlos Training Area in Germany, we honored sixteen of our finest American soldiers, leaders, and warriors in missile defense in Europe. Watching their leadership in action, we could feel the Eastern Flank Deterrence Line taking shape. These men and women are turning innovation into reality, pushing forward at the tactical edge new shooters, new sensors, and new ways to connect.
The EFDL Data Backbone is no longer a concept. It is here, and these Champions are bringing it together, new system by new system. This is the first line of defense for our NATO Alliance, and they carry that responsibility with excellence and relentless purpose.
