That's what Senator Doug Jones' opponent, former football coach Tommy Tuberville, said when asked how he'd deal with the COVID-19 pandemic. And that's pretty scary considering Alabama's cases are on the rise -- as of Friday, they had 15,000 new cases in two weeks.

But he just won the GOP primary, and could be the newest senator from Alabama -- unless we step up to support Senator Doug Jones right now.

We need to raise $5,000 for Doug Jones by Friday's mid-month deadline to help him take on Tommy Tuberville this November -- will you donate $5 or more right now?

Doug and Tommy are in a dead heat -- but this is the GOP's #1 target this year, because they think it should flip a Democratic-held seat in Alabama. And they're paying big bucks to do it.

Karl Rove's group One Nation and the Club for Growth have booked $3.5 million in TV spending starting this week attacking Doug Jones. We have to fight back with everything we have -- and that includes grassroots donations from folks just like you.

We won this seat in a surprise upset two years ago, but now we have to defend it with everything we have. Doug Jones is a champion for Alabama and a trusted colleague, and I need him by my side in the Senate.
