I can't tell you how meaningful it is to represent South Jersey -- the place I've lived my whole life -- in the halls of Congress. I'm proud to fight every day for the issues that matter most to us, like making health care more affordable and creating good jobs with fair wages. It's truly an honor to serve you all.

Working families are the backbone of this country and I promise to never stop fighting for the working people of South Jersey. I know there's a lot of good the government can do to support hard-working Americans because I've experienced this help first hand. I used to rely on unemployment and disability benefits myself, so protecting programs like these is personal.

But right now we've got a Republican Senate and an occupant in the White House who would rather strip away government protections and benefits than improve and expand upon them. So the stakes for this upcoming election couldn't be higher. November is our chance to send Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell packing, and it's also an opportunity to expand our majority in the House.

Our first fundraising deadline since our primary is tomorrow, and we're going to need your help to hit our goal. Will you pitch in $5 or more before midnight? Every dollar you contribute helps ensure we have the resources we need to win big in November.

I'm sick and tired of watching Mitch McConnell kill the legislation we've fought hard to pass in the House. I'm sick and tired of Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy serving as a rubber stamp for Donald Trump. They're obstructing progress at every turn, they're out of touch with the American people, and they've both got to go.

If we're going to pass real reforms that raise the minimum wage, protect a woman's right to choose, and improve our health care system, then we need to send a blue wave crashing down on McConnell and McCarthy this November.
