I never thought I’d run for public office. I never wanted to see my face on TV. But I love this country, and like I did after we were attacked on 9/11, I’m stepping forward to serve in a crisis.

While our opponents are slinging mud in their expensive and white-hot-race-to-the-bottom primary, my message is simple. I’m running for Senate because Washington is failing Tennessee and we can’t afford to elect another rubber stamp for the folks that are hurting our state.
