When Donald Trump returned to power in January, he had the world’s richest man by his side and an aggressive agenda to destroy Social Security.

Now, as the year winds down, the White House is claiming that DOGE, Trump’s anti-American collaboration with Elon Musk, “doesn’t exist.”¹

Musk and his friends used DOGE to take a wrecking ball to our Social Security system, with Trump’s blessing. Musk’s DOGE goons pushed 7,000 Social Security workers out of their jobs, while dumping all of our private Social Security data on an insecure public server. Trump spread easily-debunked lies about Social Security at a Joint Address of Congress.

DOGE might be officially over, but the destruction continues. Edward ‘Big Balls’ Coristine is still employed at the Social Security Administration, under the self-professed ‘DOGE Person’ Commissioner Frank Bisignano.

Yet the Trump administration wants to pretend that DOGE never happened, and Musk’s former top lieutenants are scrambling to distance themselves.

Politico just released a long ingratiating profile on DOGE that, despite its messy details, amounts to a very Trump-friendly narrative.²

Their narrative pits Musk’s team against the Trump White House, and leaves the President’s fingerprints off of the mass staffing cuts that took place. It’s more sympathetic to the people who took a wrecking ball to our government than the people who are suffering from the devastation DOGE has caused.

We will not let Americans forget that even with DOGE officially over, this administration is still committing a nonstop assault on seniors and Social Security itself. And we will not let Bisignano and Big Balls win.
