Housing First Minnesota Award
|
I was honored to be named a 2025 Legislator of the Year by Housing First Minnesota! I am grateful to Housing First Minnesota for its recognition and partnership in addressing our state’s housing challenges. Families across our state are eager to buy their first home, but too often government regulations stand in the way. Working together across government and the housing industry is key to helping more Minnesota families achieve the dream of homeownership.

|
I enjoyed visiting the Children’s Discovery Center in Breckenridge and learning more about their incredible work to provide hands-on learning opportunities for kids in our community. Thank you to the passionate volunteers who are behind this project!
I have supported children’s museums like this one across Minnesota at the state legislature. Through legislation I co-authored, our state dedicates key funding resources specifically to these important community institutions.

We had a great turnout at Thumper Pond and discussed everything from housing and transportation to public facilities and other local community projects. Thank you to everyone who joined the conversation and for your service to our communities!
