Earlier this month, I had the great honor of presenting a resolution from the Tarrant County Commissioners Court honoring the 250th Birthday of the United States Marine Corps. At the ceremony, we heard from 100-year-old Iwo Jima veteran Corporal Don Graves, who led us in a beautiful rendition of God Bless America. It was a celebration full of patriotism and gratitude.
On November 11th, we honored Veterans Day by presenting the Tarrant County Veterans Services Office (TCVSO) with a resolution. We all live free because of the bravery of everyone who has been willing to step into a uniform and protect our freedoms. It was a privilege to honor our Veterans.
