** No doubt, Senator Whitehouse will be all over this.

Energy In Depth ([link removed]) (11/18/25) reports: "The dark-money network bankrolling many of the climate-liability lawsuits against energy companies is now facing an IRS complaint, putting renewed focus on the shady financials driving this nationwide litigation campaign. According to The Washington Free Beacon, the left-wing funding powerhouse New Venture Fund has been accused of improperly channeling money into climate lawsuits. The complaint, filed by the American Accountability Foundation (AAF), alleges that NVF may be violating federal tax rules by quietly steering resources into politically charged litigation while enjoying the benefits of tax-exempt status. At the same time, Arabella Advisors — the for-profit hub that long managed NVF’s fiscal sponsorship network — has sold its fiscal sponsorship business to a new public benefit corporation, Sunflower Services, a move the Free Beacon reports as part of a broader
rebrand amid mounting scrutiny of the network’s dark-money operations."

** "COP30 accomplished nothing. The agenda, the language, the hand-wringing has gone from alarmist to laughable. Some 30 years of it is now exhausting."

(11/20/25) reports: "As drivers prepare to hit the road for Thanksgiving in record numbers, gas prices are relatively steady compared to last week. The national average for a gallon of regular went up by a couple of cents to $3.10. Despite the burst of gasoline demand that will occur during Thanksgiving week, overall demand is low this time of year which helps keep pump prices down. The national average has seen few fluctuations in 2025 thanks to low crude oil prices and no major storms affecting Gulf Coast refineries."
Consider this our 'call for efforts' to stop giving money to corrupt losers.

(11/24/25) reports: "Countries around the world have agreed to put more money toward fighting climate change as this year’s COP30 climate summit concludes in Brazil. A formal decision released over the weekend said the nations will seek to mobilize at least $1.3 trillion per year by 2035 to help developing countries with the issue... The agreement also 'calls for efforts' to triple financing to help countries adapt to the impacts of climate change, which is expected to exacerbate extreme weather, including by making storms more frequent and intense."

(11/25/25) reports: "The tiny South American nation of Guyana, once one of the continent’s poorest countries, recently emerged as a top oil producer. After a swathe of high-quality discoveries in the offshore Stabroek Block, the government in Georgetown finds itself managing one of the world's largest oil booms. In roughly a decade, Guyana went from its first oil discovery to South America’s third-largest oil producer with signs of further growth ahead. This delivered a massive economic dividend for the country of less than one million, which sees it now ranked among the wealthiest in South America."
