Friend,

Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos wants your tax dollars to go straight to religious education and she's willing hold up COVID-19 relief to make it happen.

After the Supreme Court ruling in Espinoza, DeVos shared her plan to include funding for private school vouchers in the next relief package—siphoning much needed support away from the many public schools working to educate and support kids through the pandemic.

DeVos knows well that the vast majority of voucher dollars go straight to private religious schools. In fact, she's counting on it and believes it's a moral imperative that we ensure all children are educated, early, on the importance of faith in Christianity.

Not only is this a massive violation of the separation of church and state, it's playing politics with federal dollars that local governments, public schools, small businesses, and millions of families across the country are depending on to make it through this crisis.

Lawmakers need to know that our community is calling on them to oppose voucher funding in the next COVID-19 relief package, as well as any future funding bills.

Join us in this fight by urging your Members of Congress to stand against using taxpayer dollars for private religious education, especially as a part of COVID-19 relief.

Tell Congress to oppose vouchers
Thanks in advance for speaking out,
