AVAC is excited to share a whole new way to visualize and explore the data from our Global PrEP Tracker, a database that documents oral PrEP uptake around the world. This new tool is now live at
data.prepwatch.org, and users can use it to interact with the oral PrEP data, which AVAC has collected every quarter since 2016.
With our data visualization tool, you can see how oral PrEP uptake is growing by country and across the globe, compare progress by region and over time, and see which countries are leading delivery. Data are updated quarterly from surveys of programs, demonstration projects, clinical trials, and other oral PrEP initiatives from 78 countries, every country with a known program.
Use the tool for a quick snapshot on oral PrEP trends, and take a deeper dive with the
PrEP Tracker in Excel, which offers a sortable database of information on national programs delivering oral PrEP, country guidelines and targets, drug registration status and more. Don’t see your country or program represented? Please do be in touch with us at

PrEPWatch.org, which will help you stay current on oral PrEP data and inform your advocacy for prevention. Effective prevention depends on access to oral PrEP programs now and the ability of those programs to incorporate
future products for a world with many options to meet the diverse needs of those who need prevention most.
