Hi John,
Despite this year’s challenges, we have much to be thankful for.
We’ve taken on the colossal task of opposing the Trump administration’s dangerous attacks on our food, water, and livable planet – and Food & Water Watch members have stepped up to meet the challenge.
Together, we’ve been able to stop some of the worst of Trump’s attacks on our health and environment.
We defended the historic Lead Out of Water Rule that will help protect 9 million families from lead in their drinking water. We protected school lunch funding for kids in the Congressional budget fight. We stopped efforts to criminalize pipeline protests, and to block state and local regulations against AI data centers – and the list goes on.
You’ve signed petitions, called and emailed your elected officials, shown up in person for historic days of action, called your neighbors, and donated to power our legal fights. Your efforts are noticed and make a difference.
This year, with your partnership, we:
Mobilized 2,500+ volunteers
Held 1,000+ organizing events and volunteer activities
Won 11 legal fights and worked on 25+ more ongoing legal matters
Held 250+ meetings with Congressional staff to educate and push for policies that protect our food, water, and climate
Your advocacy this past year means the world to me. That’s why, John, I want to personally say THANK YOU.
Food & Water Watch is celebrating 20 years of grassroots advocacy this fall, and it’s thanks to your support that we are able to persevere in fights all over the country as we work to protect our food, water, and climate.
We are so grateful to have you by our side, John!
