And while I spend a lot of time on the ground in Central and Southern Illinois to listen to what matters most to you, it’s impossible to reach everyone.

I’m deeply disappointed by the lack of action from the Republicans in power both in Congress and the White House. Families, veterans, seniors, farmers, and more are struggling to make ends meet while the GOP focuses on tax breaks for their billionaire donors. They won’t lift a finger to help the middle class.

I’ve worked hard despite the GOP majority to get results – protecting local jobs in Granite City, ensuring our public schools get the funding they need, and prioritizing veteran care.

There’s more work to be done, and your thoughts will inform what I focus on as we move into the midterm election year. Will you take a minute to complete the survey?
