John,
I recently joined the South Texas Builders Association for an urgent discussion around one of the major issues impacting every corner of South Texas, our families, and our economy.

Washington politicians have, for far too long, debated immigration without caring what South Texans think. Our state is home to millions of immigrants who have built our cities from the ground up and keep them moving forward every day.
But this conversation shouldn’t be just about immigrants’ economic contributions to our construction, housing, or manufacturing industries — and it definitely shouldn’t be just a political talking point. It should also be about God-given human dignity.
It’s about South Texan workers’ safety on job sites, young students’ ability to make it home at the end of the day, and keeping parents and their children together.
Our current representative, Monica De La Cruz, has voted time and time again for policies that foster division, fracture our communities, and make it impossible for hardworking families to thrive in the place they call home.
I’m running for Congress because South Texans deserve a voice in Washington. It’s time to bring real South Texan values back: respect for our neighbors, hard work, and never turning our backs on someone in need.
Se vale soñar,
Bobby Pulido
