Trump’s AI Order Is a Direct Threat to State Power and Voter Control
John,
The Trump administration is preparing an executive order designed to override state-level AI laws — even after the Senate already rejected this overreach before.
This isn’t just about artificial intelligence, or information security. It’s about who gets to decide how our states are governed. And if Trump gets his way, it won’t be voters — it’ll be him.
Secretaries of State are already on the front lines of election security, data oversight, and fighting AI-driven disinformation. Stripping them of their authority could open the floodgates for abuse in our elections and beyond.
We can’t let this happen. We have to fight back now.

Trump’s goal is clear: silence oversight, consolidate power, and rewrite the rules.
Ours is simpler: stop him.
