Friends,

As the holiday season approaches, we’re reminded that the strength of our democracy has always depended on everyday Americans choosing to show up — for their communities, for each other, and for the ideals that define our country. Across the nation, people are gathering under the Principles First banner to push back against extremism, lower the temperature, and model what constructive, good-faith civic engagement can look like.

Whether it’s a town hall in a rural county, a community forum in a major city, or a dinner conversation among neighbors who don’t always agree, these moments of connection matter. They’re how we rebuild trust, strengthen civic culture, and reaffirm that the work of democracy is shared — not outsourced.

During this season of reflection and gratitude, we’re especially thankful for you. Your time, energy, and commitment fuel this movement and make it possible for us to keep creating spaces where honest dialogue and principled leadership can thrive.

We look forward to seeing you at our next event and continuing this work together in the weeks ahead.
