Dear Friend,

I had an abortion in 1974. I was living in New York, so accessing care was simple and easy. Today—over 50 years later—it's unthinkable that abortion is harder to obtain and more dangerous in much of the country than it was then.

I can't imagine what women in states like Texas, Oklahoma, and Alabama are going through trying to get the care they need—the care I needed—at home.

Abortion is normal. Where you live shouldn't determine the care you receive. [[link removed]]

As a longtime supporter of reproductive rights, I started donating to the Center when it became clear to me that the most important work in protecting reproductive rights was happening in the courts. The Center has a proven track record of fighting—and winning—critical cases to protect our freedom.

I choose action over despair. I'd like to personally invite you to join the team during this urgent time by chipping in just $10. [[link removed]] This Giving Tuesday, your gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar to defend the right to abortion care everywhere.

GIVE $10 NOW [[link removed]]

I am a proud member of the Center's Advocates Council because I believe in their lawyers expertise, courage, and their ability to WIN. Will you join me in taking action ahead of Giving Tuesday? [[link removed]]

All gifts are doubled until December 2 at midnight, so your impact will go twice as far. [[link removed]]

Together, we can hope, dream, and take action toward a world where reproductive freedom is a right guaranteed for all.

Sincerely,

Phyllis T.
