This is despicable, John.

Millions of Americans could permanently lose their food-stamp benefits in a matter of weeks because of the Republicans’ spending bill.

This is a nationwide catastrophe for families who rely on SNAP to put food on the table. We must act quickly.

I refuse to let Trump gut food assistance, but I can’t stop this alone — I need your voices rising up with mine to stop this injustice.

This is beyond cruel, John.

SNAP is one of the most effective anti-hunger programs in the country. It keeps vulnerable Americans afloat in moments of hardship.

And yet Trump and Republicans want to gut it — all to help fund more tax breaks for billionaires.

To make matters worse, the administration has up to $6 billion in reserves to fund SNAP. It’s clear Trump cares more about pushing political propaganda than helping feed American families.

The government has a responsibility to do everything possible to safeguard these essential, life-saving benefits.
