I wish you blessings and safe travels as we come together with family, friends, and loved ones to share memories and celebrate Thanksgiving this week. We give thanks to the Lord, the source of every blessing and the giver of true liberty, and we remain grateful for the chance to serve and uplift others. It is a privilege to serve as your State Senator, and I am committed to working for our Constitutional values and for the truth in all circumstances. I am also grateful for our community, which is defined by its kindness, supportive neighbors, dedicated schools, and resilient local businesses. My hope is that this Thanksgiving brings you joy, meaningful conversations, and time with those who are closest to your heart. Happy Thanksgiving, and enjoy a wonderful holiday weekend!

Minnesotans recently began receiving their 2026 proposed property tax statements and many have reached out to me justifiably frustrated over the continued budget-crushing rise in property taxes. The year-over-year sharp increases continue to squeeze Minnesotans making the cost of housing more unaffordable. Those on fixed incomes come closer to losing their home (even if no mortgage) over inability to afford the taxes. Young people aspiring to purchase their first home see the cost growing further distant due to higher monthly payment being out of reach. Even those renting face double-digit increases as the cost of higher property taxes is passed along in higher rent.
There are two primary drivers pushing property taxes higher:
1.) Democrat shutdowns during COVID lowered commercial property values shifting the tax burden to residential homes.
2.) Democrats at state level passed hundreds of new mandates onto counties, cities, and schools forcing property tax hikes.
There is a simple solution. Radically rolling back government mandates which directly cause distortions in free-markets and which force local governments to fund mandates via higher property taxes. I will continue working hard to shrink government and return control back to locally elected leaders who can make much better decisions without costing an arm-and-a-leg.

Once again, Minnesota has become a national embarrassment. Recent reports show large-scale fraud within Minnesota’s public programs, including the possibility taxpayer dollars were moved overseas to fund dangerous terrorist groups such as al-Shabaab.
It is absolutely disgusting how certain state programs may have been abused, money funneled and laundered, and Gov. Walz lack of oversight failed to detect the problem sooner. This latest development is yet another in a long series of Gov. Walz breaching trust with Minnesota taxpayers who expect their hard-earned money to support Minnesota families and communities, not criminal networks or overseas extremists. Taxes in Minnesota are already too high. All of the fraud is insult to injury. Our hard earned money is contributing to fund violence and terror across the world.
Last session I was a strong supporter of the bill to create an independent office of inspector general. Unfortunately, Democrats in the House killed the bill. Nevertheless, I will continue pushing for rigorous oversight, stronger fraud prevention measures, and holding Gov. Walz accountable. Minnesotans deserve transparency and firm action to ensure this never happens again!

Public health officials blocking truth and transparency stating it's for the public good. In MN, Gov. Tim Walz is directly responsible for lost lives and livelihoods because he blocks truth and transparency.

INJUSTICE : Authentic women athletes continue to be robbed of their rightful victories by men role playing as fake women.

YET ANOTHER DISCOVERY: In the face of multiple dozens of confirmed fraud and violations of law, Gov. Walz continues his lack of shame for the disgrace he's inflicted upon Minnesota.
