UNAIDS, WHO and the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria cordially invite you to participate in the commemoration of this year’s World AIDS Day on Monday, 1 December, from 15:30 to 17:00, CET, at UNAIDS Global Centre in Geneva.
Join the Executive Director of UNAIDS, Winnie Byanyima, the Director General of WHO, Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus and the Executive Director of the Global Fund, Peter Sands They will join community and government in three interlocking panels on how the disruptions are affecting the lives of people and access to the services they need; pathways forward through resilience, community leadership and innovation; and the urgent need for global solidarity in times of crisis.
Guests will be welcomed by a visual and social media experience through the UNAIDS lobby and enter the room to music from a renowned local sitar player before being seated at 15:30 prompt when the event will go live. The event will be followed by refreshments accompanied by Les Genevoix choir.
