A new poll of Michigan’s Senate race just dropped, and we’re not in it.
Yup, you read that right. They left Abdul out of the poll.
[ A ]A post from Abdul: 'The corporate wing of both parties can play ostrich
all it wants. But make no mistake: See us or not, all of us who want
affordable healthcare, housing, and groceries are coming for you.' He's
quoting a post that shows a Michigan Senate poll that doesn't include
Abdul.
Now, you don’t “accidentally” exclude the only candidate in the race who’s
never taken corporate PAC money and raised more in individual
contributions than any other campaign in this race last quarter — a
candidate that’s neck-and-neck for the lead in the primary.
It’s clear, they’re scared of what our movement represents. They know the
stronger we look, the weaker the old guard becomes.
But there’s some truth to this poll — that if we don’t continue building
grassroots strength, they’ll keep pretending this campaign doesn’t exist.
That hurts our ability to organize, earn news coverage, and build the
momentum we need to win this primary.
