Friend,

I’m ready to fight for a better Nebraska. I’m seriously considering a run for Governor because I’m tired of seeing our state’s potential wasted on political noise and division.

Our current leadership is fixated on social battles, ignoring the core needs that affect our daily lives: good roads, strong schools, and growing our local economies. I believe we deserve a Governor who focuses on solutions, not division.

My roots are in the community, not behind closed doors. My experience is built on everyday work: I’ve been a teacher, run a daycare, and worked as an advocate for people with developmental disabilities. I understand the daily struggles and aspirations of hard-working Nebraska families because I’ve been right there with them.

I took that common sense to the Legislature, where I proved I could get things done. I focused on building trust across party lines and successfully delivered legislation on key issues like mental health and infrastructure.

I’m hitting the road soon to listen to Nebraskans and build this campaign around what you need.

This exploratory phase is crucial for hiring our first staff and gathering the initial resources we need to get this exploratory committee off the ground. If you believe in bringing commonsense and decency back to leadership, will you chip in $25, $50, or whatever you can afford today?

With gratitude,

Lynne Walz
