As you know, former military and national security Democrats are being threatened with sedition trials and even hangings by the Trump administration. And now, a specific target has been added to their list: Arizona’s own Senator Mark Kelly.
On Monday, he was threatened with a court martial by the so-called "Department of War" for saying one simple and truthful thing:
“Soldiers can refuse to follow illegal orders.”
For speaking those words and for defending the Constitution, he’s now facing threats of court-martial.
Mark Kelly is a former astronaut, an American hero, and an Arizona Democrat.
That last part matters. Arizona Democrats are built differently. We do not back down. We stand up to Trump and his cronies. We defend democracy, even when it is risky.
That is why protecting every Democrat on the ballot in Arizona in 2026 is absolutely critical. Our Governor, Attorney General, and Secretary of State are all up for re-election. If Republicans win even one of those seats, they will hand the keys to Trump.
